Enrolling at Lincoln
Process to enroll students for 26-27 school year
We encourage you to complete the enrollment process as early as possible to help us with proper staffing and course planning.
Current PPS Students (incoming 9th Graders):
- If you are a current PPS student in the Lincoln catchment area- you don’t need to do anything. You can double check this enrollment by looking at ParentVue in January. You will find it under the Course Request section.
- Immersion program students will temporarily default to neighborhood schools but will be corrected by mid-January. Feel free to reach out to us in early February if this does not happen.
Students not currently enrolled in a PPS School:
- If your child was enrolled in a PPS School in the past
- Fill out the paper student registration form and submit two current proofs of address along with updated vaccine records.
- If your child has never attended Portland Public Schools
- Prior to March 1 (preferred) Fill out the enrollment packet and submit it along with: 2 proof of address, 1 proof of age document.
- After March 1 - If you have never been a PPS student and want to enroll online you can enroll online by completing the enrollment online link on the Lincoln or PPS website. Online enrollment will continue to be open through the end of summer.
Complete the paper forms and turn to Lincoln with all supporting documents. Registration packet includes:
- Registration form
- Technology Agreement
- Parent Consent to Access Medicaid
- Vaccine records
- Proof of age
- Exit grades and official transcript from most current school This is necessary to plan the best educational program for the student.
- 2 proofs of home address
Two original pieces of first class mail are required as proof of residency in the Lincoln area are required for registration. These documents must be dated within the last 30 days and have the parent or guardian's name listed. If you cannot provide two proofs of residency or you are not the legal parent/guardian of the student, please contact the Enrollment and Transfer Center at 503-916-3205. Note: A driver's license is not an acceptable proof of residency.
- Real Estate Documents (mortgage, rental, lease agreement).
- Insurance (home, rental, health or car).
- Government Documents (Social Security, Unemployment Insurance, WIC, Oregon Health Plan). We do not accept driver’s license as proof of residency.
- Utility Bills (phone, electric, natural gas, water).
- Financial Documents (bank statement, credit card bill, pay stub)
